Story
This classic KU tee features the smiling Jayhawk that was introduced by Harold D Sandy in 1946. This Jayhawk featured the same palette and style as previous logos but gained a bigger smile, giving it a brighter and kinder look. This emblem stuck with students and fans for over 60 years and became the university's official logo until 2006 when it was slightly updated to include KU's iconic Trajan font.
